Community Facilities Update

A quick update for you all as winter arrives in Wanaka.

We have had the manufacturers of the mechanical pool covers over from Australia to rectify some of the issues that we encountered over summer, and we are hopeful that these issues have now been conclusively resolved.

Spa Pool
The spa pool has had some thermal covers fitted which are working very well. Again, please ensure that these are placed in the pool on top of the water when not in use. Also, the last user in the evening is responsible for replacing the metal security grate on top of the spa pool.

Maintenance Log and Booking System
The maintenance log and booking system diaries are available in the club house building. We are checking the maintenance log regularly for your comments and these are being followed up and rectified as soon as is possible. A copy of the usage rules are at the front of both of these books for your reference.

Security
Please ensure that if you are the last to leave the facility in the evening, that you check:

• the heat pump in the clubhouse is switched off
• the heaters and lights in the change rooms are off
• the building is locked up
• the spa pool covers are in place
• and the gate is secure.

Cleaning Equipment
A cupboard with appropriate cleaning products has been installed in the clubrooms. This will enable everyone to leave the clubrooms in a clean and tidy state after use with the next user in mind. Thank you also to those of you who are taking your rubbish and recycling away with you. Please also remember to wipe down the gym equipment after use, leaving it nice and clean for the next user.

Lost Property
We seem to be accumulating quite a collection of lost property, some of which may belong to you! Please take a moment to look through the lost property drawers and reclaim your lost items.

It's great to see you all making the most of these fantastic facilities - it's particularly impressive to note the early morning gym usage! I hope you continue to enjoy the facilities over the winter months.
